Jonny Lang Revisited

Jonny Lang has been touring lately and thanks to some great youtubers I've been able to get a little bit of the Jonny summer fix. I was really, really happy to discover this great video today because I've been waiting a long, long time for someone to get on tape Jonny's "oneness" with his guitar.



There are in fact noises coming out of his mouth which are in perfect pitch with the guitar...I've seen him do this live and it's really rather incredible...I'm sure it's no big thing for him, but to the onlooker it's really quite something. This, right here, is the kind of stuff I WISH I could stop time for... This solo is almost a little bit like sex...the slow crescendo to the fanatical high pitched climax and even as an audience member you kinda breathe a le sigh when time resumes. You're equally spent from the full on brilliance you just witnessed going off. And I think everyone thinks, "got any cigarettes?" Even me who doesn't smoke.
