Next week, Thursday, Burn Notice will begin its much awaited second season. It's the USA Networks smash hit from last summer and my hope is that this season lives up to its first.
I fell in love with Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) and the wacky bunch of characters that surround him from the first five minutes of the pilot last summer. The show is topnotch. The writing is a quirky mix of drama, comedy and action. It's MacGyver for the here and now.
I picked up on the yogurt running joke in the first two episodes - mostly because like Michael I too really, really like yogurt. (I eat about a gallon a week. True story.)
The season finale left me with SO many questions, and I cannot wait to find out what's going to happen. If you're not watching Burn Notice, shame on you.
Australia, Network TEN just picked it up - so get ready for some fun. Check your local listings and jump on this train. TEN was smart for picking this one up - Burn Notice is Gold. But sorry Aussies, you have to start at the beginning. Which, is a good place to start.
