O, the power of community, in this case, the Nerdfighters.
In my email box last night, I was treated to an email from an overly excited Hank Green regarding the fact that first week book sales have been tabulated for his brother John Green's new book, Paper Towns.
Apparently, the planned effort by the thousands upon thousands of Nerdfighters (fans of the Green brothers; myself b
eing one of them) has resulted in Paper Towns hitting #5 on the New York Times Best Seller list. I haven't seen the printed list yet, but I'm really happy for John.
My reactions to John's book can be viewed here. If you haven't read Paper Towns yet, I suggest running over to your local book store and picking up a copy. It's worth every hard earned dollar spent.

Woah--It's the Tobian!
Hennyway, I have yet to get ahold of Paper Towns since I'm broke and currently neither employed nor in college at age twenty (volunteering is my life, right now).
However, it's wonderful that we, the citizens of Nerdfighteria, have managed to elevate John Green to that status. This means potentially more Nerdfighters, as well. Imagine how much the Green Brothers could accomplish with a following the size of a small nation!
Best wishes,
-Jordon
