I've seen the future. You get the book done this year, early November actually. And after covering your wall with rejection letters in December, the following January you get paid a very healthy sum of money from a very famous publishing company with a contract saying you have to write at least 2 more books.

Later that year, your book comes across the desk of a film production studio who wants to make it into a full feature film.

And then, I'm not sure why, but adult swim calls you and wants to write episodes. Go fig.

I dont think its going to be the fountain of youth. I feel this way because another Disney movie called Pirates of the Caribbean is doing there fourth installment on the fountain. So it would be very unwise for Disney to do two fountain movies that come out the same year.

It can't be the Fountain of Youth for the simple reason that Pirates of the Caribbean 4 (also from Disney) is suppose to have that theme. Pirates theme is given away in the end of the third Pirates movie.
Also the supposed '51' in the picture from the presidents book is actually the picture number from the phone. It stands out to much from the other writing to be anything else. Sorry to burst your bubble but how about Braddock's Treasure? It's not quite as well known so it would make a better story to the general audience.

What bothers me most is that a lot of people don't even TRY to get it right. It's just "here's what I think."

And regarding posting some of my own fan fiction... not gonna happen. I write my fan fiction under a pseudonym so posting it here would defeat the purpose.

I was in agreement with your rant until the the end of the post. I think a better spin might be to show that good grammar helps keep the reader involved.
You could change were to where in paragraph 3 and rewrite the "it it" sentence...
Also, having an example of fan fiction you have written would be a great addition and might lend some healthy examples. Thank you.

Hey, u got such a strong soul to feel and fantasize all that. And u enjoy all that - cause people mistreat each other much worse. So it is a positive alternative - never coming true; and u always getting aways - with the most valuable u, ur sensitive soul.
Please write in such a way that it can be done as a movie - with great acustics, perhaps music, ... and really well done full close-ups.
I enjoy participating in your great adventures... and best would be to write a great book and make it into a movie.

I tend to fall off buildings when I die kind of like Capt. Jack in Torchwood when Capt. John threw him over the side of the building.

Or I am running from something through Sherwood Forest with the wolves and a deer impales me on his antlers.

Maybe you should get a book and analyze your dreams or turn them into a book of your own. That could be interesting.

i had it big time for tom cruise and christian bale. one day i finally realized it would not happen between me and tom (you know, only because he was so much older than i.) imagine my complete disappointment in myself for giving up when i woke up one morning to find out that tom and katie were an item! "um...she's my age!" i shouted. i didn't tell michael why i was so disgusted...i just let him think it was because i thought she was too young for him...when in reality i was thinking, "that wasn't a fantasy! that was an option!"

I think that people who date each other need to be best friends. Now, we all know that I'm an idealist when it comes to romance, but for me, my girlfriend needs to be my #1-priority-drop-everything-else-to-be-with-her type person. Of course the romance stuff is there, but day-to-day, you need to feel like that person is your best friend/favorite person. It seems logical that if someone is ALREADY your best friend, and if you both realize you care for each other, there should be no drama -- only the addition of romance. The problem here is that not everyone agrees with my theories (but they will one day!). People have different expectations for their best friends and their significant others. And in that respect, even a best friend won't have all the qualities needed to be a boy/girlfriend. I don't believe that.

If one person cares and the other one doesn't, put simply: that's a shitty situation. And I've definitely been there. Sometimes it means it's time for you two to grow apart, but other times I was able to just swallow those feelings and move on.
